Our Church

Our History

Hebron Cornerstone Church International is the ministry God birthed in the spirit of Pastor K. L. Warren in 1995. Both Pastor Warren and First Lady Michelle Warren accepted the call of God and the mandate upon their lives to lead God’s people.  It is awesome to see this vision unfold as God continues to manifest his purpose in the lives of Pastor & First Lady Warren and the family of Hebron.

Our Vision

We believe that vision, planning, leadership, discipleship and evangelism, in excellence, is the only way to fulfill our God-given assignment to reach those that are lost, doomed to a devil’s Hell, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to perfect all those who are members of Jesus Christ’s body.

Power of the Local Church

We believe that the local church is the hope of this world. We believe that the church of “the living God” is the only God-anointed agency in society that stewards the life changing, life transforming message: “The Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Tenets of Faith

The bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is the infallible word of God.

There is only one true and living God.

Man was created by the special act of God in his own image and in his own likeness.

Salvation involved redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who will accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Water baptism, the immersion of the believer in water is an act of obedience.

Jesus Christ will return bodily and in visible form in glory to the earth.

Core Values

Excellence

Definition: The state, quality, or condition of excelling; superiority

Colossians 3:23 (NLT) Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

Ephesians 5:1 (AMP) THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].

Evangelistic Outreach

We believe strongly that God has given to us all as believers the ministry of reconciliation.
We must carry this message of hope to the lost in an effort to see lives transformed through the Word of God.

2 Corinthians 5:18 (KJV) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;.

Family

Family is the fundamental building block of ministry.

Ministry first begins with husbands and wifes loving and serving each other in the home, while setting a Godly example for their children.

The ministry of family is then extended into the community forming a body of like minded believers with the fundamental tools to properly minister to the lost and hurting.

1 Timothy 3:5 (KJV) For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?.

Equality

Definition: Treat everyone the same (no partiality)

Galatians 2:6 (NLT) And the leaders of the church had nothing to add to what I was preaching. (By the way, their reputation as great leaders made no difference to me, for God has no favorites.)

James 2:1 (NLT) My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?

Proverbs 20:23 (KJV) The Lord detests double standards; he is not pleased by dishonest scales.

James 2:8-9 (NLT) Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law

Compassion

Definition: A feeling of deep sympathy, sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.
Mark 10:49-52 (KJV) So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

– Compassion will prompt you to do something for someone or something else.

Acts 10:38 (NLT) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

1 John 3:17-19 (NLT) If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.

1 Peter 3:8 (NLT) Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous.

Jude 1:21-23 (NKJV) keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
