Our Leaders

Pastor_FirstLadyHebron Cornerstone Church International is the ministry God birthed in the spirit of Pastor K. L. Warren in 1995. Both Pastor Warren and First Lady Michelle Warren accepted the call of God and the mandate upon their lives to lead God’s people. The vision of the ministry is “Reaching the lost and perfecting believers around the world.”  It is awesome to see this vision unfold as God continues to manifest his purpose in the lives of Pastor & First Lady Warren and the family of Hebron.

The strong call and anointing on Pastor K. L. Warren’s life was identified at an early age by his grandmother.   The son of a Pastor, he was no stranger to the things of God or the Word of God.  Yet, he did not desire the path that God had chosen for his life and he attempted to run from it.  In 1979, he was in a major car accident that left his car hanging from a bridge.  After being pulled from the crushed car without injury, Pastor Warren knew that God was requiring submission to the call on his life.  As a result, he totally committed his life to Jesus Christ and ministry.

After much intense prayer and studying of the scriptures, Pastor Warren started to minister in his local church.  Later in that same year, God blessed him with a helpmate, Michelle Warren, who he wed in November of 1979.  They had two beautiful daughters, Shaunte’and Joy.

He stayed faithful to his pastor at that time, Bishop L.E. Willis, at Garden of Prayer Church of God in Christ while attending the church.  He served Bishop Willis for 18 years with grace and dedication.  He preached his initial sermon at Garden of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. in 1980.  Under Bishop Willis, he organized a prison ministry where he went into area jails preaching the gospel and provoking men to change.   Many of the inmates received Christ and changed their way of living as a result of his ministry.

Upon instruction from God, Pastor Warren founded Hebron Cornerstone Worship Center (now Hebron Cornerstone Church International) in 1995.  He started a radio broadcast, “Focus on the Word,” that same year.  His family was in full support of his ministry and assisted him by acting as the choir, praise team, teachers, and any other positions needed to help the church succeed.  The church is growing rapidly and going strong today.  There are approximately 25 ministers working within the ministry.  After 9 years of serving in the pastorate, Pastor Warren and his wife, First Lady Michelle Warren, are still enthusiastically fulfilling the God-given vision of “reaching the lost and perfecting believers around the world.”
